Flyer Gen AI exists to answer a narrow question honestly: which AI flyer and poster generators are actually worth your time and money?
Why we started this
AI design tools are marketed with their best output. The demo reel shows a flawless concert poster; the flyer you get back has a misspelled headline, a date rendered as gibberish, and a resolution too low to print. The gap between the marketing and the result is the entire reason this site exists.
We started Flyer Gen AI after repeatedly working through that gap ourselves — signing up for one generator after another to produce ordinary, unglamorous things: a community meeting notice, a class schedule, a fundraiser poster, a storefront promotion. The tools that impressed us in a demo were often not the tools that finished the job.
So we do the boring part in public. We run the same briefs through every generator we cover, open every export at full size, and write down what actually happened.
Who we are
We are a small independent team with backgrounds in graphic design, print production, and software testing. We are not affiliated with, owned by, or operated by any of the companies whose products we review. No vendor has a stake in this site, and no vendor sees a review before it is published.
How we pay for it
Some outbound links to the tools we cover are affiliate links. If you follow one and subscribe to a paid plan, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. That revenue pays for the subscriptions we test with and the time it takes to write the reviews.
We want to be precise about what that does and does not influence. It does not influence scores, rankings, or whether a tool is criticized. Tools with no affiliate program at all are reviewed and ranked on exactly the same basis — several of our current entries pay us nothing. If a product is the right pick, it gets the top spot regardless of what it pays.
What we hold ourselves to
We buy our own accounts
Every tool we score is paid for at the standard public rate. We do not accept free upgrades, extended trials, or review units, because a vendor-provisioned account is not the account a reader gets.
Placement is never for sale
No vendor can pay to appear, to rank higher, or to have a criticism removed. If a company approaches us about sponsored placement, the answer is no, and it has no effect on their score either way.
We show the same brief to everyone
Comparisons only mean something when the inputs match. Each generator receives an identical set of briefs, and we report what came back rather than the best result we could eventually coax out.
We correct ourselves in public
These tools change quickly. When a review goes stale or we get something wrong, we update the page and say what changed rather than quietly editing it.
What we are not
We are not a design agency, and we do not make flyers for hire. We are not a reseller — you always buy directly from the vendor. And we are not a news site: we cover a small number of tools carefully rather than every product that launches.
Our reviews describe our own experience with a tool at a point in time. They are not a guarantee of what you will get. Model updates, pricing changes, and feature removals happen often in this category, so check the vendor's current terms before you commit to a plan.
